As already informed in May 2022, the Twin Trough Chamber for the ADC 2 (022.5261) was replaced by the new CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber made from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 for 20 x 10 cm plates (022.5260). This new chamber shows significant improvement of the front detection.
To streamline the product portfolio, the new chamber (022.5260) will also replace the Twin Trough Chambers for manual development. With this, the following part numbers are discontinued as of 19 April 2023.
- 022.5251 CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber for 20 x 10 cm plates, without lid
- 022.5253 CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber for 20 x 10 cm plates, with glass lid
- 022.5254 CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber for 20 x 10 cm plates, with stainless steel lid
- 022.5261 CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber for ADC 2 for 20 x 10 cm plates (already obsolete since May 2022)
Order information about Twin Trough Chamber for ADC 2:
- For ADC 2 from S/N 290200 on or older ADC 2 already upgraded to the new chamber, please order the new chamber 022.5260.
- For ADC 2 before S/N 290200 and not yet upgraded, please order the upgrade kit 022.8365 (022.5260 is included).
Order information about Twin Trough Chambers to be used without ADC 2
- The new Twin Trough Chamber 022.5260 replaces all previous Twin Trough Chambers for 20 x 10 cm plates and is compatible with the new glass lid for Twin Trough Chambers only (022.5292). There is NO stainless steel lid available for this chamber and the old stainless steel lid will not fit for the new chamber.
- The Twin Trough Chambers for 10 x 10 cm and 20 x 20 cm plates are not affected by this change and remain as they are.
