CBS Enters a New Era

February 17, 2026

After more than 60 years of publication, the CAMAG Bibliography Service (CBS) is evolving to better address the needs of today’s scientific community.

Starting this year, CBS will adopt a new publication model with one article released every two months. These six articles will be compiled at the end of each year into a complete annual CBS issue, providing readers with a coherent thematic overview of the year’s contributions while enabling more timely access to new content.

Alongside this new publication rhythm, the CBS Editorial Board will enter a new phase and become fully integrated within CAMAG. This step enables closer collaboration and ensures strong alignment with ongoing scientific and technological developments in the field of HPTLC.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the former CBS editor, Prof. Dr. Melanie Broszat, for her dedication and valuable contributions over many years. Her commitment has been instrumental in shaping CBS into the respected publication it is today.

While the format of CBS is being renewed, its core values remain unchanged: scientific rigor, practical relevance, and a strong commitment to the global HPTLC community.

We look forward to sharing this next chapter of CBS with you and thank you for your continued interest and support.
