Course Overview:

This qualification course provides comprehensive service training on CAMAG instruments and the visionCATS software suite. Participants will learn installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification procedures according to CAMAG standards. The focus is on the HPTLC PRO Lineup and visionCATS 4.x, with optional modules for advanced users.

Successful participants will receive a CAMAG Service Qualification Certificate (valid for 2 years).

Course Structure:

Day 1 – Introduction & software

• Welcome and course objectives
• Overview of product portfolio and service documentation
• visionCATS 4.x: What’s new and best practices
• Installation, configuration, and PRO module integration
• Log file interpretation and troubleshooting
• IQ/OQ refresher: Updates on qualification processes (if wished)

Day 2 – Sample Application & Development

• Practical: Installation and setup of ATS 4
• Preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Linomat 5: Setup, operation, field service
• Troubleshooting and calibration principles
• ADC 2 / 3: Firmware test and alignment procedures

Day 3 – Scanning and Visualization

• TLC Scanner 4: Differences from Scanner 3, Alignment and diagnostics
• TLC Visualizer 3: Operation, cleaning, troubleshooting
• Practical: Firmware and diagnostics exercises
• Scanner communication and firmware updates

Day 4 – Derivatization

• Practical: Installation and setup of Derivatizer
• Preventive maintenance and diagnostics

Day 5 –

• Troubleshooting: Participant cases and discussions
• Feedback session
• Certificate presentation and closing remarks
